Our Story
Every lead we make starts with the same rope used by climbers on rock faces and alpine routes. It's the only material we found that genuinely meets our standard, unbreakable strength, supple in the hand, and beautiful enough to complement the dog on the end of it. We strongly believe in sustainability and source our materials from reputable suppliers. The rope, for example, is made from recycled materials.
We hand-stitch, and hand-finish every single lead in our workshop. No machines. No shortcuts.
We are Sue and Steve and we are avid dog lovers ourselves (we have four dogs) and enjoy taking to the great outdoors. After years of struggling to find the perfect lead, think Goldilocks... this one is too bouncy, this one isn't nice to hold, and so on! We decided to start creating our own.
I (Sue) hold a qualification in animal behaviour (BSc Hons) and had an idea of the perfect lead, combining Steve's technical knowledge of ropes (IRATA Level 3 with over 20 yrs experience of abseiling) we came up with the leads we sell and hope you love them just as much as we do!

How long will my lead take to arrive?
As long as we have the lead you have ordered in stock, we will send your lead out the same day if ordered before 2pm.
We send all orders by Royal Mail Tracked 24, if you would like to use a different service this can be selected at checkout but will be charged.
How much is shipping?
It's FREE! We offer free next day shipping on all orders!
Are the leads guaranteed?
Each lead comes with a guarantee. If your lead breaks (with appropriate use!), just let us know and we will repair or replace your lead!

What if I change my mind?
If you change your mind, it is no problem at all, a lead is a very personal choice and we want each and every customer to be completely happy on their adventures. Simply return your lead in an unused and undamaged state and we will issue a full refund.
