The Fell clip lead is handcrafted from certified climbing rope and finished entirely by hand, from the first stitch to the last heat-shrink seal. It is, quite simply, one of the most robust leads you'll ever own.
This variation is made with 10.5mm Unicore rope with an impact force guarantee of 7.8kN. Unicore technology bonds the core and sheath, it limits sheath slippage, reduces deformation, and ensures long-term durability
Our clip leads are made from a 1.4m length of rope, they end up 1.1m to the base of the clip and the handle is 17cm long. Please note there may be slight variations due to each one being made by hand. If you require any different lengths please get in touch and we will do all we can to help.
The clip design features a heavyweight brass trigger clip, it won't corrode and won't seize in the cold.
The rope we use is supple to hold in your hand and will not give the bouncy feel some cheaper ropes do, making your commands clear and concise the cornerstone for efficient and effective training.

Not the lightweight pressed metal you'll find on most leads. The Fell uses a solid brass trigger clip, heavy, smooth, and built to last a lifetime. Brass resists corrosion naturally, operates cleanly in all weathers, and develops a beautiful patina with use. One satisfying click and you're away.
- Marine-grade waterproof heat shrink
All joins are sealed with adhesive-lined, marine-grade heat shrink tubing - the same material used on offshore rigging. It bonds permanently to the rope, keeping moisture and dirt out of the splice while adding a clean, purposeful finish.
